What does Anopsia mean?

ANOPSIA = Want or defect of sight ( blindness ).
An anopsia (or anopia) is a defect in the visual field. If the defect is only partial, then the portion of the field with the defect can be used to isolate a lesion.
We’ve chosen this name because if you want to listen to music, you don’t need your eyes to appreciate the sound and we believe that any imperfection humans have can be “corrected” by another sense.
